Most eaux-de-vie used by Cognac Esprit Organic come from SCEA Domaine de la Grande Versenne in Triac-Lautrait. The SCEA holds a CEC certificate issued by the BNIC, valid from 14 March 2025 to 13 March 2028 subject to continued compliance with the standard. Other purchases are documented separately.

High Environmental Value

HVE: the estate in the official directory.

HVE certification corresponds to level 3 of the environmental certification for French farms. It is based on result indicators covering biodiversity, crop protection strategy, fertilisation and irrigation.

Cognac Environmental Certification is a sector programme led by Cognac stakeholders. It assesses winegrowing practices around five objectives: biodiversity, water, air and soil quality, restriction of synthetic treatments, soil life and carbon restraint.

The nominative CEC certificate documents the commitment of SCEA Domaine de la Grande Versenne. When supply does not come directly from the SCEA, purchases are traced and documented separately; the SCEA certificate does not imply certification of an unnamed supplier.
