Cognac Esprit Organic

Working with the same passion

A passionate heritage serving future generations.

Léopold Croizet

comes from a long line of winegrowers. He is the 10th generation of the family to work the vine, in Algeria on his mother’s side and in Charente on his father’s side. Experience and know-how run in his veins.

With studies in international business and an MBA, he was ready to take over and develop the family estate. He began by converting the vineyard to organic agriculture.

For him, the future lies in preserving this heritage and in the deep conviction that rural common sense must regain its place in working the land.

Fanny Croizet

has been passionate about vine-related crafts since childhood, watching her grandfather harvest and distil the fruit of his vines. Her father, a taster in a major trading house, quickly passed on to her a sensitivity to the many flavours of Cognac.

What began as a simple sensory game led to a master’s degree in international wine and spirits business, with a strong focus on tasting cognac spirits.

After several years refining her nose and her knowledge of eau-de-vie ageing in a fine family cooperage, she joined Léopold in 2016. First for love, then for passion.
